What we collect
Details you give us. When you book a walkthrough or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, the type of project, and anything you tell us about it. If you message us on WhatsApp or call, we receive the details you share there.
Details collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics (Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics) that collect usage information — pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you found us. This is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
How we use it
We use your booking details to confirm and prepare your gallery visit, respond to enquiries, and follow up on your project. We use analytics to understand which pages help visitors and to improve the site, and advertising data (described below) to measure and improve our marketing. We do not sell your personal information, and we only send marketing communications where you have consented or asked to hear from us — you can opt out at any time.
Who processes it for us
A few trusted services help run this site, each receiving only what they need: Vercel (website hosting and page analytics), Google Analytics (usage statistics), Meta / WhatsApp (chat and advertising), Google Ads (advertising measurement), OpenAI (advertising measurement), Google Maps (the location map on our contact page), and Behold (displays our Instagram posts). These providers process data under their own privacy policies and our instructions. Your booking details themselves go into our own customer records system, which we host on our own server rather than with a third party.
Advertising & marketing
We promote Tayo Living on platforms such as Google (Search, YouTube), Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and OpenAI (ChatGPT). To measure these campaigns and show relevant ads, our site uses the Google Ads tag and the OpenAI pixel, and may use additional advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel — which set cookies and share limited usage data (pages visited, actions like submitting the booking form) with those platforms. If you arrive from an ad or later see our remarketing ads, this is how. You can control ad personalisation at Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), Meta's Ad Preferences, or by blocking cookies in your browser. If you enquire through a lead form on an ad platform, we receive the details you submit there and treat them exactly as described in this policy.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising, as described above. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site keeps working without them.
How long we keep it
Booking and enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to serve your project and for our business records. Analytics data is retained per Google's and Vercel's standard retention periods.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw a consent you've given. Write to build@tayoliving.com and we'll respond promptly. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you believe we've mishandled your data.
